Chuck Norris’ legacy will forever live on through his family.
The Walker, Texas Ranger star’s loved ones confirmed his March 19 death at the age of 86, sharing that he was “surrounded by his family and was at peace.”
“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength,” they wrote in a March 20 Instagram post. “To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.”
Chuck—who was born in Oklahoma and held black belts in karate, taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo—was a father five. He welcomed sons Mike Norris63, and Eric Norris60, with ex-wife and high school sweetheart Dianne Holechekwho he was married to from 1958 until 1989. He also shared 24-year-old twins Dakota Norris and Danilee Norris with model Gena O’Kelleywho he married in 1998.
During the ‘90s, Chuck learned that he was also father to ignoble Norris DiCiolli61, who was born from an affair he had during his marriage to Dianne.
