Ukraine’s Air3F has unveiled VARKHAN, an unmanned ground vehicle developed for logistics and field support tasks, capable of carrying up to 200 kg.
The system was presented at the Arsenal of Talents exhibition, highlighting its military application possibilities.
Equipped with electric motors, the VARKHAN can reach speeds of up to 22 km/h and is designed to tackle tough off-road conditions. Its suspension prioritizes the traction needed in off-road environments, while the structure allows the use of durable tires, increasing resistance in adverse conditions.
The vehicle is also designed for critical tasks, such as casualty evacuation, and offers multiple communication options, including a radio with a range of up to 10 km, as well as LTE and satellite connections. The operator can choose the control system that suits the situation.
With an operating time of up to 7 hours and a range of 40 km, VARKHAN is already in service with several Ukrainian military units. Due to the favorable initial reception, the brigades requested additional copies, indicating the expansion of the platform’s battlefield application.
The Ukrainian company Air3F has officially unveiled the VARKHAN unmanned ground vehicle, which Defender Media reported on last week.
