The Central Command of the United States Armed Forces (Centcom) announced this Thursday (19) that American forces destroyed a factory in Iran used to assemble ballistic missiles, in yet another attack carried out during military operations against the Iranian regime. According to Centcom, the affected facility was used to produce weapons that threatened American forces, neighboring countries and commercial routes in the region.
According to the military command, the target was the surface-to-surface missile factory located in the city of Karaj. To destroy the factory, Centcom said American forces used precision-guided munitions.
O Centcom released satellite images showing the location before and after the bombing. The photos, dated March 1 and March 11, indicate that the structure suffered significant damage following the attack.
The US, together with Israeli forces, has carried out daily attacks against Iranian military targets as part of the so-called Operation Epic Fury, which aims to destroy Iran’s ballistic and nuclear capabilities. The operation was launched on February 28, during attacks that eliminated a large part of the Islamic regime’s leadership, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
