It seems like colorful sneakers are the next up-and-coming trend taking over spring. The new collection boldly taking that stance is PUMA’s H-Street Sneakers line. Launched in March, the campaign stars Blackpink’s Roséthe brand’s global ambassadorsporting the sneakers in a (slightly surreal) grassy version of traditional suburbia.
The H-Street is a reinvention of PUMA’s Y2K archival track-and-field designs and the late 90s Harambee silhouette. In other words, it combines the casual mesh and lightweight feel of the Harambee with the sprinting build of running shoes.
But the most stand-out design decision for this collection? The unapologetically bold color combinations. They’re not too sporty. They still have that effortless PUMA feel.
“The PUMA H-Street has quickly become one of my go-tos. They’re effortless to wear, and most importantly are super comfortable and almost light as air. They’re so cute and one of those shoes you can just throw on with any outfit,” says Rosé in a statement.
Plus, the collection features one ballet sneaker that is yet to be released. Officially launching on the site on March 31, the H-Street Ballet Sneakers still have the mesh, lightweight, and colorful look of the rest of the shoes in the line. Although, they are available to purchase on Nordstrom ASAP.
