FACT OR FAKE: What we know about accusations of intelligence use in Benjamin Netanyahu’s coffee shop video

Netanyahu posts video drinking coffee to ‘show that he is alive’ Publications are circulating on social media pointing to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation of the video released this Sunday (15) by the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he appears in a café in Jerusalem (watch above). Users highlighted excerpts from the recording that, according to them, “prove” that it was one of the synthetic productions allegedly disseminated by the Israeli government to “cover up the death” of the prime minister. Speculation on the topic gained strength from Friday (13), after a recent statement by Netanyahu became public. At the time, comments went viral citing that the images would have shown six fingers on his hand – which would be a “sign” of AI. At one point, it is possible to read, on an employee’s apron, the word “Sataf”, the name of the establishment (see below).
