The Federal Revenue will publish this Monday (16), starting at ten o’clock in the morning, the rules for declaring Income Tax 2026, which define who is obliged to report and which criteria will be valid this year. Delivery must be made by the last working day of May, which this year will be the 29th.
Among the likely changes is the update of the amount of taxable income received in 2025 that requires the taxpayer to declare. Last year, the limit was R$33 THOUSAND and R$888 for the year.
The Income Tax declaration can be sent by computer, through the Declaration Generator Program, or online, through the Revenue’s digital systems such as My Income Tax, in the Revenue application, or via the e-CAC portal.
