Israel withdraws from charging military personnel suspected of abusing Palestinian

The case would have taken place in the Sde Teiman military prison and would have involved five soldiers. The military prosecutor’s office said video recorded of the case did not show enough violent abuse, and that the victim had already been returned to Gaza. The decision was celebrated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the far right.
