Civil Police execute warrants against lawyer suspected of helping drug traffickers in Niterói

The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police served an arrest and search warrant at the residence of lawyer Nathalia Nunes Sant’Ana, daughter of Jorge Esteve Sant’Ana, known by the nickname “Nem Rato”. He is identified by investigations as one of the main leaders of the Red Command in the Niterói region, in Rio de Janeiro.

The person being investigated is suspected of helping to escape the two perpetrators of the attempted robbery against Thaís Borges, a crime that occurred on March 4th. Nathalia is also being investigated for involvement in drug trafficking. According to the police, the lawyer had rented a residence inside the Community of Castro, in Niterói, with the purpose of hiding the perpetrators of the crime after the attempted robbery.

During the investigations at the property used as a hideout, the police found various illicit materials, such as drugs, rifle ammunition, signal blockers and clothes used in the crime.
