A man who went to buy a new car left the salesperson completely stunned after requesting a vehicle that he wouldn’t need to worry about regular oil changes.
The case was shared in a TikTok video from the GP Motor Company profile, which welcomed the driver of a Toyota Camry with an unusual request: a car that doesn’t require regular oil changes.
“So, you have to change the oil. It’s recommended every 5,000 km because your engine needs to be lubricated. You always have to do an oil change,” explained the salesperson. The buyer, however, was firm in his request for a vehicle that doesn’t require oil changes.
In the comments, internet users began suggesting that the man should buy an electric car, but even electric cars need occasional oil changes, since the fluids inside electric powertrains don’t work the same way as engine oil in a gasoline-powered vehicle.
