Businessman Elon Musk reacted to a video that went viral on the social network X this Wednesday (11), which exposes the Banco Master scandal and the investigations that connect Federal Supreme Court minister Alexandre de Moraes to the case.
The publication makes reference to an editorial video by People’s Gazette, presented by company president Guilherme Doring da Cunha Pereira, reaffirming its commitments to defending freedom and justice in the election year in Brazil.
The profile responsible for the publication highlighted the connection between Musk and Moraes before talking about the bank fraud under investigation in Brazil. “Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes — the same judge who clashed with @elonmusk during Brazil’s attempt to ban X in 2024 — now faces growing calls for impeachment and arrest,” the post reads.
He also cited a speech by Musk from 2024, in which he called Moraes the “dictator of Brazil” and “predicted” that the minister would end up in prison “for his many crimes.” The owner of X even posted an image generated by artificial intelligence at the time, in which Moraes appears behind bars.
Reacting to the latest events in Brazil, Musk commented in the publication: “So it goes”, which in free translation into Portuguese can mean “That’s how things go” or “it happens”.
The businessman added in another comment, marking Moraes’ profile on X, that “one day” his photo behind bars will be confirmed.
The new mentions of Moraes come days after the STF minister closed an investigation against Musk that accused him of obstruction of justice and incitement to crime for failing to comply with orders to block accounts on his platform.
