This Wednesday (11), Minister Dias Toffoli, of the Federal Supreme Court, declared suspicion for intimate reasons and decided to leave the report on the process related to the Banco Master case.
The decision was taken after analyzing a writ of mandamus questioning the supposed omission of the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies in installing a CPI to investigate possible fraud involving the bank and Banco Regional de Brasília.
In the decision, Toffoli stated that, in a preliminary analysis, he did not identify the necessary requirements to grant an injunction that would force the immediate installation of the commission.
Toffoli stated that there has already been a final and unappealable decision ruling out any hypothesis of suspicion or impediment in relation to his performance in the processes linked to the call Operation Compliance Zero. According to him, this decision confirms the validity of his participation in cases related to the operation.
