A report by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) accuses Iran of launching cluster bombs in at least half of the attacks launched against the country since the start of the war.
According to the military assessment, the warheads of cluster bombs indiscriminately spread dozens of submunitions, each with several kilograms of explosives, within a radius of about 10 kilometers. These attacks would aim to cause more direct impacts on civilians.
According to the Home Front Command of the Israel Defense Forces, Iran’s missile fire during the war mainly targeted population centers, as well as military installations and essential infrastructure in the country.
According to the Times of Israel newspaper, two people died in Israeli territory this Monday due to impacts from a cluster bomb at a construction site in the center of the country.
