The Royal Enfield Bear 650 registered 59 units in Brazil during the month of February, according to data released by Fenabrave (National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution).

The number represents one of the first commercial results of the model in the Brazilian market after its recent launch.

The Indian brand’s new medium-displacement scrambler arrived in the country with a proposal that mixes classic looks, off-road inspiration and the well-known twin-cylinder platform of Royal Enfield’s 650 line.

Based on the same mechanical set used by models such as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, the Bear 650 features specific cycling and design adjustments aimed at a more adventurous approach.

The model is equipped with a 648 cc parallel-twin engine, capable of delivering around 47 horsepower and approximately 5.7 kgfm of torque, associated with a six-speed gearbox.

Among the Bear 650’s differences are the elevated 2-in-1 exhaust, suspensions adjusted for mixed use, wheels suitable for different types of terrain and a style inspired by classic scrambler motorcycles.

In Brazil, the motorcycle was presented with a starting price close to R$33,990, positioning itself as a competitive option in the segment of medium-displacement motorcycles with a retro style.

The arrival of Bear 650 reinforces the strategy of Royal Enfield to expand its presence in the Brazilian market, which has become one of the brand’s main markets outside India. In recent years, the manufacturer has been expanding its product line and dealership network in the country.

With the start of deliveries and the first registration numbers recorded by Fenabrave, the expectation is that the new scrambler will gain greater sales volume in the coming months, following the brand’s growth in the modern classic motorcycle segment.
