A sheriff from Hall County, Georgia (USA), was arrested after driving his patrol car with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit.

According to authorities, the sheriff Gerald Couch was arrested around 10:30 am last Friday (27) after driving under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyzer test indicated he had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit.

While being questioned by colleagues, Couch said he had been drinking and “messed up everything”. He admitted that he had been drinking at around 6am, but that he had not had anything to drink since 8am.
