This Thursday (5), the minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Flávio Dino decided to extend the annulment of the breaches of confidentiality approved by the CPMI of the INSS to Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, Lulinha, among other targets.
Initially, the minister had responded to the request for annulment made by the defense of businesswoman Roberta Luchsinger, a friend of President Lula’s son.
Even today, Dino expanded his decision, invalidating all breaches of secrecy approved in the same vote by the CPMI, including the one that determined the breach of Lulinha’s banking and tax secrecy.
The minister also stated that the Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry can, if it wishes, proceed to a new deliberation on the breaches of confidentiality, if it wishes to review the decisions taken in the vote on February 26, 2026, which he considered mistaken and without adequate motivation.
CPMI revealed that Lulinha generated R$ 19.5 million in 4 years
According to the investigation by Grupo Bandeirantes reporter, Pedro Teixeira, Fabio Luís Lula da Silva carried out around 1,531 banking transactions in the period, involving both inflows and outflows of resources, as well as internal transfers between his own accounts.
The INSS CPMI report also points out that, during the period of Lulinha’s financial transactions, President Lula made three transfers to his son, totaling R$721 thousand. The origin and reasons for these payments are being investigated, with a view to clarifying details about the value and nature of the transactions.
