“It’s basically going to be like three physical volumes,” Sarah added, “but it’s one thing altogether.”
And while she’s releasing them all separately, Sarah admitted that she still considers all three books as a singular story.
“It’s meant to be read as one massive story as opposed to a trilogy,” Sarah noted. “It’s not a trilogy. Arcs aren’t wrapped up.”
Of course, Sarah felt it was her duty to her fans to publish the first three parts in rapid succession, as opposed to leaving them with a massive cliffhanger.
“I could not live with the idea of publishing part one and then being like, ‘You’ve got to wait a year,’” she said. “I was like, ‘No, I want this in everyone’s hands.’ So that’s why we’re doing this back-to-back.”
