Actor José Dumont, 75 years old, convicted of rape, was arrested on Tuesday night (3), in Rio de Janeiro. The crime occurred in 2022.
According to investigations, the actor had taken an 11-year-old boy, the son of a street vendor, to the apartment. Residents of the building reported the case and reported that the child had already been to the place other times.
José Dumont was sentenced to 9 years and 4 months in prison by the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Despite the conviction, he was free to respond to the case.
In 2022, the actor was also arrested for storing child pornography material.
