The technical commission created by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) to discuss the so-called penduricalhos in civil service salaries will hold its first meeting this Wednesday (4), at 10 am. The meeting should begin the debate on transition rules that guarantee respect for the constitutional ceiling on civil servants’ remuneration.
The ordinance that established the commission was published yesterday (3) by the president of the Court, Edson Fachin. The document details the work schedule, with weekly meetings until March 20, when a final report must be presented. During this period, experts, representatives of public and private bodies, academic entities and members of civil society may be heard.
The creation of the group was the result of coordination between the leadership of the Three Powers to address the issue, after preliminary decisions by ministers Flávio Dino and Gilmar Mendes to suspend payment of any type of payment.
