The National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) participates, this Tuesday (3), in a public hearing in the Chamber of Deputies to discuss incidents involving unruly passengers on commercial flights.
To represent the agency, the CEO of Anac, Tiago Faierstein, will be present. The Road and Transport Commission also invited representatives from the Federal Police, the Brazilian Association of Airlines (Abear), Aeroportos do Brasil and the National Union of Aeronauts.
The hearing intends to discuss the increase in cases of indiscipline on board and the possibility of creating standards and measures to prevent this type of occurrence. Among the proposals under analysis are the classification of conduct by level of severity, the application of administrative penalties and the creation of a boarding ban list.
