Iran’s security chief, Ali Larijani, stated this Monday (2) that the country will not negotiate with the United States. The statement came after President Donald Trump stated, this Sunday (1), that the new Iranian leadership would be interested in resuming negotiations.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also told Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi that Tehran would be open to “serious efforts” to reduce tension following the Israeli and American attacks. However, through a publication on the social network X, Larijani denied the information that he had taken the initiative to resume negotiations with Washington through intermediaries from the Sultanate of Oman.
The United States’ campaign in Iran will continue until all of the country’s military objectives are achieved, according to Trump, in a statement published on his social media.
