The escalation comes after the confirmation of the death of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and other central figures in the Iranian government. Even so, the United States and Israel indicate that they do not intend to reduce military pressure, while Iran responds in different parts of the Middle East.
