The minister of the Federal Supreme Court, André Mendonça, extended this Friday (27) a previous decision to the new date for Daniel Bueno Vorcaro’s testimony at the CAE (Senate), scheduled for March 10. As a result, Vorcaro will depend on authorization to travel.
In the decision, the minister determined that the same terms previously set on February 19th would apply to the new call.
Thus, any displacement of the person being investigated to give a statement will depend on a prior, formal and unequivocal expression of agreement. Without this consent, there cannot be a transfer.
If you choose to attend, transportation must be organized by the Federal Police, with escort and continuous surveillance, on the corporation’s own aircraft or on a regular commercial flight, with the use of private aircraft being prohibited.
The person being investigated may also be accompanied by a lawyer during the trip and during the hearing before the commission.
