The United States government announced that this Monday (23) it carried out a new bombing in the Caribbean that resulted in the death of three more men classified as narco-terrorists. The announcement was made by the United States Southern Command through a statement published on the social network X.

According to Southern Command, American forces carried out a “kinetic lethal attack” against a vessel operated by drug trafficking organizations designated as terrorists. The statement states that US intelligence confirmed that the boat was transiting known drug trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was involved in activities linked to international drug trafficking.

“Three male narco-terrorists died in this action. No US military forces were damaged,” the command said.

The offensive is part of the operation known as “Southern Spear”, launched last year to combat drug trafficking in areas of Central America, South America and the Caribbean. With this Monday’s attack, the number of bombings in the Caribbean reaches 44 and the total number of narco-terrorists killed has reached at least 150 since the beginning of the operation, according to counts published by United States press outlets.
