The Federal Supreme Court (STF) must analyze, next Wednesday (25), the decisions of Minister Flávio Dino that imposed limits on the so-called “hangings”. The plenary will decide whether or not to maintain the judge’s individual determinations.
Dino reaffirmed the 60-day deadline for bodies from the Three Powers to detail additional payments made to civil servants and present the legal basis that authorizes these transfers.
He also warned that, if the National Congress does not fulfill its responsibility to legislate on the issue, the STF could discuss the adoption of a transitional regime to regulate the issue.
Last Wednesday (18), President Lula barred the so-called penduricalhos that had been approved by the National Congress for employees of the Legislature and the Federal Audit Court (TCU).
Known as “hangings”, these amounts are compensation amounts added to salaries and which, in many cases, cause remuneration to exceed the constitutional ceiling for public service.
