MG Motor has confirmed the delivery of its millionth vehicle to a European customer, consolidating the brand as one of the fastest growing on the continent in the past decade.

Since returning to the UK market in 2011 with the launch of MG6 the manufacturer has expanded its presence to 34 European markets, supported by more than 1,300 partner dealers.

In 2025, the company recorded 300,000 units sold in Europe — a 30% growth compared to 2024. The UK remains the brand’s most important market with a total of 386,000 units sold since the relaunch.

Growth driven by electric and hybrid cars

One of the main driving forces behind MG’s expansion has been the range of electric and hybrid cars with an accessible price strategy and a focus on technology. So far, the automaker has delivered 317,000 fully electric vehicles in Europe.
