The report sent by the Federal Police to the STF (Supreme Federal Court) cites more than ten occasions in which Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, would have met Minister Dias Toffoli, former rapporteur of the investigation into the bank. The information was confirmed by our reporter in Brasília, Caiã Messina.
According to the PF, the meetings, which took place between 2023 and 2024, indicate a friendly relationship beyond what the conversation between the two on WhatsApp shows, in which the minister invited Vorcaro to his birthday party.
Last week, Toffoli left the report on the Banco Master cases after the PF handed Edson Fachin, president of the STF, a report on Toffoli’s relationship with Vorcaro, a defendant in the case. The minister then denied having any friendship with Vorcaro and argued that there was no room to allege his suspicion.
