The INSS CPMI brought forward the testimony of Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, to Monday (23).
The hearing seeks to understand Banco Master’s involvement in the retirement and pension discount scandal.
Previously, the announced date for the testimony was next Thursday (26). Vorcaro will also testify at the Senate’s CAE (Economic Affairs Committee), on Tuesday (24).
The president of CPMI, Carlos Viana, stated that Vorcaro’s visit to the commission was negotiated with the banker’s defense. Among the terms of the agreement is the commitment of the lawyers that they will not file a habeas corpus to prevent him from appearing.
