The United States Southern Command reported this Tuesday (17) that it carried out three attacks against vessels in the Eastern Pacific and the Caribbean, which resulted in the deaths of 11 men.
According to authorities, four suspects were killed in the first attack, another four in the second and three in the third. The actions are part of operations to combat drug trafficking in the region.
The Armed Forces justified the offensive by stating that the vessels were sailing along routes known for transporting drugs and that the occupants were involved in activities linked to drug trafficking.
