This Sunday (15), the body of Valentina Santos was laid to rest and buried in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro. The girl suffered gunshots to the head after an attempted robbery. The crime occurred last Wednesday (11).
She was hospitalized in serious condition at the Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu, located in Baixada Fluminense, but she could not resist her injuries and died last Saturday (14).
Security camera footage recorded the action. In the recordings, it is possible to see the car where the child was being overtaken by another vehicle, occupied by the suspects, who carried out the approach.
According to investigations, at least five criminals participated in the action. The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station is conducting investigations to identify those responsible. The police have already confirmed that the car used by the robbers had been stolen the night before, in Vila Valqueire, also in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
