‘First-feline’: cat Larry turns 15 as official guardian of British government residence

The cat has lived in the official residence of the British government, house number 10 Downing Street, in London, since 2011, when it was adopted to hunt rodents. Since then, he has become the official mascot of the acting prime minister. The feline, considered a public servant hired by the Executive’s office, is a paparazzi and social media phenomenon.
