The councilor Diego Vieirayes PRD, right Praia Grandeon the coast of São Paulo, is being investigated for offering money and gifts to underage boys in exchange for sexual favors. He is the author of Bill No. 92/2025, aimed at promoting actions to combat sexual violence against children and adolescents.
He would have offered tickets to shows and gifts that interested the boys, such as football boots. Conversations with sexual content took place on social media and often involved the offer of money — there are reports of proposals of 50 reais and 200 reais. Parents of victims sought the Civil Police and presented investigators with cell phone screenshots containing dialogues with Vieira.
There is a police report involving two teenagers, one aged 16 and the other aged 15. The suspicion is that other boys were approached by the councilor. Vieira’s defense denies the crime and states that the complaint is “slanderous”, in addition to saying that it will adopt measures to preserve the “honor and image of the councilor”.
