Pirelli will be the new official tire supplier of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America from the 2026 season.

The multi-year agreement marks the first time in the championship’s six-year history that the one-type series will use the Italian manufacturer’s tires on the racetrack.

The official presentation of the collaboration will take place in February, at the collective test held at the Sebring International Raceway. This is when the 992.2 generation of the Porsche 911 Cup is presented to the public for the first time, Pirelli equipped with tires.

The certification guarantees that the natural rubber used comes from plantations managed according to strict environmental protection principles, ensuring full traceability and segregation of materials throughout the entire production chain.

The announcement comes shortly after Pirelli confirmed the development of special versions of the P Zero R and P Zero Trofeo RS for the road-going version of the Porsche 911 GT3, reinforcing its strategy of bringing motorsport technology to production models.

Claudio Zanardo, President and CEO of Pirelli North America, emphasized that the agreement will further strengthen the presence of the brand in North American top-class championships.
