Portuguese company Beyond Vision has started sending drones to Ukraine and is preparing a new batch of modernized equipment to strengthen local operations.
+ Laser attacks increase rapidly in the United States… US Air Force introduces new system to protect pilots
This was confirmed at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, where company officials said the first machines began delivering about three months ago.
Among the models offered is the BVH616 (HEIFU PRO), a hexacopter developed to NATO standards and designed to operate in harsh conditions, including environments with electromagnetic interference. This equipment can fly for up to 60 minutes with 3.5 kg of cargo on board, and uses artificial intelligence algorithms to ensure stability and communication redundancy.
Another major model is the BVQ418, a quadcopter with a flight time of up to 90 minutes and a payload capacity of 6 to 7 kg, and there is also the BVT516 (VTOne). This hybrid drone combines vertical takeoff and fixed-wing long-distance flight, enabling an operating time of up to 150 minutes and a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour. This model is mainly used for reconnaissance and mapping missions and has a modular system that allows for quick sensor replacement.
The company also unveiled additional projects, including the First Responder Drone, developed for use in emergency response vehicles in the United States, and an underwater vehicle concept capable of operating six to eight autonomous drones. At the same time, we are expanding technical cooperation in the defense field by discussing integration of local technologies, including acoustic systems and electronic warfare solutions, with Ukrainian partners.
