A single team from the 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Regiment managed to neutralize three Shahed-type drones in the same night, during low-altitude air defense operations. The action was carried out using the GRAY WIDOW-1i interceptor, a model derived from the GRAY WIDOW 1 kamikaze drone.
According to manufacturer Nebesna Kara, the GRAY WIDOW-1i combines versatility and performance, operating between 90 km/h and 260 km/h. This variation allows the aircraft to perform both prolonged patrols and rapid responses against threats identified in the airspace.
Autonomy varies depending on the type of mission: it can reach up to 40 minutes in active target search, drop to 20 minutes in mixed mode or be limited to around seven minutes in interceptions at maximum speed. The operational range reaches 30 km, with a flight ceiling of up to 6,000 meters and the ability to carry a 1.1 kg warhead.
The system is still undergoing combat tests with optical guidance and already has an operational history in previous versions used by Ukrainian special units.

The regiment also gained prominence recently when one of its soldiers, known as “Miguel”, shot down 24 Shahed drones in just one night, establishing a milestone in air defense operations.
