Billy Bob Thornton Shares Where He Stands With Ex Angelina Jolie 22 Years After Divorce
Michelle Randolph isn’t afraid of potentially uncomfortable conversations.
The Landman star offered insight into her personal dynamic with costar Billy Bob Thornton—who plays her dad in the Paramount+ drama—revealing that she couldn’t resist inquiring about his tabloid-fueling relationship with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
“Most of my scenes are with him, and I’m thinking, ‘God, all I know is that he drank Angelina Jolie’s blood or something,’” she said during an appearance on the Feb. 11 episode of The Drew Barrymore Showper People. “Which I since have asked him about.”
And as it turns out, Billy Bob—who previously confirmed that he and Angelina wore vials of each other’s blood during their three-year marriage in the early aughts—was ultimately unbothered by his castmate’s curiosity.
“If ease was a person, that’s who he is,” Michelle, 28, continued. “That’s why he’s so good at what he does. You think someone with his résumé is going to be so intimidating, but instead, he’s such a great actor because he pulls honesty out of you and he settles you in a scene and in life.”
