According to the American publication Washington Examiner, in a meeting Miller “demolished” federal immigration authorities for not doing enough to detain undocumented immigrants throughout the United States. Since then, the government has stepped up enforcement in a growing list of major American cities, including Washington D.C., Charlotte, Chicago and, most recently, Minneapolis.
