President Lula (PT) stated this Saturday (7), during an event celebrating the 46th anniversary of the PT, in Salvador, that the electoral dispute will be a “political war”.
The president also instructed activists to react to attacks and criticism on social media and said that “there is no more peace and love than Lulinha”.
The tone is different from that adopted in 2022, when he adopted a ‘pacifying’ stance and speech to win the Elections against Jair Bolsonaro.
Lula also criticized the PT for supporting the allocation of around R$60 billion from this year’s budget for parliamentary amendments and stated that no one from the party complained about the high volume of amendments in this year’s budget.
