Prepare for a few new faces in the ton.
As Bridgerton season four heats up between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Earth Ha), author Julia Quinn revealed that future seasons of the hit Netflix show could be recast—and the choice isn’t completely hers to make.
“I don’t necessarily know how they’re gonna spin it or write it,” Julia told Us Weekly in an interview published Feb. 7, “or what they’re going to keep and change.”
Specifically, Julia addressed speculation that the roles of youngest Bridgerton siblings Hyacinth (Florence Hunt) and Gregory (Will Tilston) would be reassigned by the time it was their turns to enter the marriage mart.
“It’s funny because they were, like, 12 and 13 when they started,” she explained. “If you asked me that back then, I’d be like, ‘I don’t know.’ But when I saw them again at the premiere, they were both drinking wine.”
She added, “They’re both 18 now and Will was there with his girlfriend.”
