Jelly Roll hasn’t forgotten where he started.

After the country music star took home all three of his nominations at the Grammys 2026 ceremony Feb. 1, he shared that he will donate one of his gilded gramophone trophies to a Nashville county jail.

“I’m obviously going to keep one at the studio because that was my dream,” Jelly told Entertainment Tonight in a Feb. 4 interview, “and I think I’m going to give the second one to the country sheriff Daron Hall to put in the jail.”

And Jelly’s Star Search costar Sarah Michelle Gellarwho joined him in the interview, interjected, adding, “So people know there’s life after.”

Indeed, even the 41-year-old—dad to Bailee17, and Noah9—emphasized as much in his acceptance speech after his album Beautifully Broken won Best Contemporary Country Album.

“There was a time in my life, y’all that I was broken,” he said. “That’s why I wrote this album. I didn’t think I had a chance. There were days that I thought the darkest things. I was a horrible human.”
