President Lula met on Wednesday night (4) with the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta, and party leaders. Dinner was at Granja do Torto, one of the residences of the Presidency of the Republic, and lasted around three hours.
With the participation of ministers, the meeting began to be designed last year and is part of the political movements at the beginning of the Legislative year, with a focus on the 2026 elections. According to behind-the-scenes information, priority issues for the government were discussed, such as the Security PEC and the end of the 6×1 scale.
After Carnival, President Lula intends to meet with the President of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre, to also discuss important issues for the Planalto Palace.
