President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva resumed his normal activities this Monday (2) after recovering from cataract surgery in his left eye, carried out last Friday (29).
During the weekend, Lula recovered well while resting at Granja do Torto, one of the official residences of the Presidency of the Republic. He is expected to participate in the opening ceremony of the Judicial Year, at the Federal Supreme Court, starting at 2 pm.
In 2020, the president underwent similar surgery on his right eye, which also went as planned.
