The Brazilian Army authorized Mauro Cid to go to the reserve this Wednesday (28), meaning he will maintain his connection with the institution, but will be listed as inactive.
Former aide-de-camp to Jair Bolsonaro, Cid was sentenced to two years in prison by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) for the coup plot.
The lieutenant colonel has been a member of the Army since March 28, 1996, 29 years and 10 months ago. Between June and November 2025, his gross remuneration varied between R$32,540.76 and R$18,419.44.
