State deputy Guto Zacarias (União-SP) called the PGR to investigate the hiring of Ricardo Lewandowski by Banco Master. Now, Paulo Gonet, must investigate whether there was influence peddling and violations of the Conflict of Interest Law by former Minister of Justice Ricardo Lewandowski, whose law firm of which he is a partner received more than R$5 million from Banco Master.
The amount was even received during the period in which Lewandowski was already in the first echelon of the federal government. He was a minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) until April 2023 and only joined the Lula government in February 2024.
In the representation, the deputy asks the PGR to investigate the compatibility of the amounts paid by Daniel Vorcaro with the services allegedly provided by Lewandowski’s company and the possible direct or indirect participation of family members, close people or legal entities linked to the former minister.
