FOR THE 2026 SEASON ducatiis the current world champion Marc Marques(#93) and the most winning MotoGP rider in the history of the Borgo Panigale brand. Francesco Bagnaia(#63) Maintain the combination. The championship opens with the Thai Grand Prix on March 1, and has special meaning for the brand as it marks Ducati’s 100th anniversary (1926–2026).

To commemorate this, Ducati presented a commemorative livery of the new Desmosedici GP, featuring a matte ‘Rosso Centenario’ color and two white stripes.

The red color chosen is reminiscent of the color used on the ‘Ducati 60’, which Ducati first produced as a complete car in 1949, and the 1955 ‘Gran Sport Marianna’ designed by Fabio Taglioni—the brand’s first racing-specific development model.

The white stripe, inspired by automotive motorsports, is reinterpreted in a modern design language and wraps around the motorcycle’s front air intake. This design was developed by Aldo Drudi in collaboration with Ducati Centro Stile Ducati.

The official presentation of the team and the new machine took place at PalaCampiglio on Monday 19 January and was broadcast live on Ducati and Dorna’s digital channels and on Sky Sports MotoGP.

Prior to the closing banquet, invited guests viewed the Dolomieu Observatory exhibition highlighting Ducati’s sports history.

Designed as an immersive journey, this exhibition looked back on the brand’s 70-year racing history and presented a visual narrative comprised of images and videos of historic motorcycles and iconic moments.

Models on display included the 1955 Gran Sport Mariana 125, 900 SS IOM TT, 851 F90, 2007 Desmosedici GP, Panigale V4 R, 2022 Desmosedici GP, and Ducati’s first electric motorcycle, MotoE V21L.

This exhibition is part of the concept of ‘A Century Made of Seconds,’ which is the theme of the brand’s 100th anniversary official logo.
