The City of São Paulo, through the Municipal Health Department, is carrying out an action this Saturday (24) in Basic Health Units to intensify vaccination against measles and yellow fever.
Called D-Day, the measure aims to check and update the population’s vaccination card in all regions of the city. The UBSs will operate from 8 am to 5 pm and will make several immunization agents available from the vaccination schedule.
Vaccines will also be offered in the same period in Integrated Outpatient Medical Assistance. The population can locate the nearest unit through the Busca Saúde platform.
Since vaccination intensification actions began on January 12, more than 30,000 doses of vaccines have been administered. Of these doses, more than 16 thousand and 24 were vaccines against measles and 14 thousand and 748 against yellow fever.
