A video released by the official channel of the Russian aviation industry shows the Il-114-300 in Zhukovsky, where the prototype is undergoing final tests and adjustments before its international debut at Wings India 2026scheduled for January 28-31 in Hyderabad.
The aircraft has already been equipped with a passenger cabin, confirming the preliminary phase of demonstrations to the public and potential customers.
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Rostec’s aviation holding company, will present its latest regional aircraft for the first time outside Russia: theIl-114-300 and the Superjet with replacement of imported components. Both are part of the international expansion strategy of Russian civil aviation.

The Superjet will be displayed on static display with a special livery inspired by the colors of the Indian flag. Built with mass production technologies, the jet uses Russian-made systems and aircraft, including PD-8 engines of the United Engine Corporation. Under the import substitution program, the aircraft received an all-Russian interior; the new standard cockpit will be presented to the public for the first time during the event.

The Il-114-300, equipped with TV7-117ST-01 engines — also from United Engine Corporation — will have a passenger cabin installed and will participate in the flight program of the event. The turboprop was designed for the development of regional routes, with the ability to operate autonomously on small aircraft, short runways and with limited infrastructure. The aircraft is certified to operate in a wide range of climates, from Arctic regions and Siberia to mountainous areas, as well as tropical and subtropical climates.

According to Rostec, India is a strategic partner of Russia, with long-term technological cooperation in line with the Make in India policy. India’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) program, aimed at expanding regional air transportation and accessibility, creates favorable conditions for the commercial potential of the Superjet and Il-114-300 in the local market.
During Wings India 2026, UAC will present Russian advances in civil aviation at its stand and participate in roundtables on the development of the Indian aviation industry. With the support of the Commercial Representation of Russia in India, technical presentations of the Superjet and Il-114-300 are planned to local specialists and operators, in light of the interest shown by regional airlines.

Wings India 2026 is Asia’s largest civil aviation event, organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India, the Government of India, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
