Marwan Jebril says he welcomes the initiative to pacify the territory and states that, although the Palestinians are not represented politically, the presence of allies, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Indonesia, generates confidence that the council’s validity will be temporary.
