During a BRICS peak meeting, Brazilian Air Force (FAB) performed an assignment of fuel refill of fighter jets under flight.
The demonstration was part of the security program that was specifically set up for the event, which was held 6 and 7 July in Rio de Janeiro and gathered high -ranking international authorities.
The operation was performed by the plane KC-390 Millenniumwhich can fill fuel on both fighter jets and helicopters in the air.
According to FAB, Brazil is one of the few countries that have the capacity for air thinking, a strategic opportunity that allows long -haul flights and thus longer flight time.
