The Republican was the target of an attack in 2024 during the presidential campaign. “I think God is very proud of the work I’ve done, and that includes the religious issue. You know, we’re protecting a lot of people who are being killed: Christians, Jews. A lot of people are being protected by me,” he said. The president also stated that even people who don’t like him would be praising the first year of government. He then mentioned a series of topics, such as the economy and immigration. There isn’t a country in the world with a border like ours,” he said. Before the press event, the White House distributed to journalists a 31-page document with a list of 365 measures that the administration considers ‘achievements’ since the Republican took office. Much of the speech was dedicated to criticizing immigrants. Trump also addressed economic issues, attacks on the United Nations and military operations, such as the one that resulted in the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro.
