The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) stated that during 2025, Ukrainian drones were used in operations that resulted in the destruction of tens of Russian air defense systems.
According to the institution, the actions were aimed at various layers of the air surveillance and air defense system for interception.
Photos published by the SSU itself show the destruction of four 92N6E fire control radars and one 96L6E-radarstation, components of the anti-aircraft missile system S-400 Triumphas well as three vehicles belonging to the complex. Two 9S32 fire control radars should also have been neutralized from S-300V-system, which is designed to detect and combat ballistic targets.

According to the statement, Ukrainian drones also hit a Buk-M1/2-air defense system, including the 9S36(M) fire control and tracking radar as well as the 9A39 launch and loading vehicle.

The published overview also mentions the destruction of wood Pantsir-S2systems, two Tor-M2, one Tor-M2D, as well as ST-68 and P-18 Terek radars and one ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun.
The Nebo radar system is also said to have suffered significant losses. The SSU claims that two Nebo-M command posts, four Or-U-complexes, two Or-SVUsystems as well as Nebo-M radar modules in the decimeter and meter bands were destroyed during the operations.
